Advert Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative (19/1081) Dumfries £27,837 - £29,565 Duties will include: - Driving LGV class 2 refuse, recyclates, food waste and bulky goods vehicles. Operate a 4 on 4 off working pattern, including weekends and bank holidays. Collection of refuse and recyclates for disposal across the region. Assisting with loading duties associated with refuse and recycling service if required. Ensuring collections and disposals are carried out on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner and adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures. Other tasks relating to Waste Disposal and Collection Services functions. An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Communities. We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require a Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative at our depot in Dumfries. You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Transport Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member. This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland. You will be educated to Standard Grade Level. A full valid Category C license, Driver CPC qualification card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential.
