Senior Quantity Surveyor | Glasgow £60,000 – £65,000 (DOE) Peace Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy that continues to expand following a wave of significant project wins. Their track record includes landmark projects exceeding £100m, managed from feasibility through to completion. This growth now creates opportunities for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving Glasgow office. Key Responsibilities: Cost Planning & Management : Prepare and manage detailed cost plans from feasibility stage through to project completion. Tendering & Procurement : Lead procurement strategies, manage tender processes, analyse submissions, and provide recommendations. Contract Administration : Draft, negotiate, and manage contract documentation (JCT/NEC), advising clients on contractual matters. Change Management : Assess variations, value engineering opportunities, and advise on the financial implications of design decisions. Valuations & Reporting : Carry out valuations, prepare interim applications for payment, and provide accurate cash flow forecasts. Final Accounts : Manage and agree final accounts with contractors, ensuring financial closure of projects. Client Advisory : Act as a trusted advisor, providing commercial insight and strategic cost advice throughout the project lifecycle. Mentorship & Team Support : Guide and support junior team members, sharing expertise and reviewing work. Stakeholder Liaison : Work closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to maintain strong working relationships and deliver best value. Sector Exposure : Work across a diverse range of projects including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and leisure developments.
