Casual Housekeeper (Lodges & Spa)

Lodge Housekeeping is looking for a responsible individual for a fixed term period that will ensure a high standard of cleanliness and services is maintained in all lodges, public areas and laundry in accordance with all policies and procedures set by Delaire Graff Estate. Responsibilities: To create a clean, orderly, and well-maintained environment for our guests and team members. To ensure that all lodges are ready and set-up according to standard within the given time frame. To ensure that the cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation of guest lodges, public areas, laundry, and back of house are maintained at all times according to company standards. To ensure that all repair and maintenance problems that need attention are reported. To ensure all guest laundry is done according to labelling instructions and returned within a reasonable time frame. To sort all linens and treat stains, load all laundry into washer on the correct program, and dry or iron according the individual requirements. To ensure all stock is replenished during morning and evening service. To maintain a positive attitude and a courteous and professional demeanour at all times. To anticipate and respond to all guest needs quickly, efficiently and courteously. To ensure that any guest complaints are brought to the attention of management. To follow all reasonable instructions. To report any breach of company policy to senior management. Requirements: 1-2 years’ previous experience working in housekeeping; Excellent ability to pay attention to detail; Stress tolerance & able to work under pressure; High standards of ethical conduct, i.e. Honesty, integrity and sensitivity; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Planning & Organizing skills; Reliable and Adaptable. Ability to solve problems and find solutions Ability to cope under pressure Well groomed Good communication skills Self-discipline Helpfulness, adaptability and flexibility Delaire Graff Estate is an equal opportunity employer.
