Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor We are actively seeking an experienced Commercial/Quantity Surveyor to join one of the world’s largest water technology companies. In this role you will play a vital role in various aspects of this key project. This position requires strong organisational skills, and a business acumen. This role is a hybrid working pattern with an expectation of 3 days on site (hotels provided). Key Responsibilities * Subcontractor negotiations and inductions * Following up procurement and pushing things forward when required * Supporting the issuance of RFP’s as well as receiving proposals * Preparing the commercial evaluation of sub-contractors and leading the selection process * Issuing PO’s and managing the communication between vendors and sub-contractors Essential Experience * 3 years’ experience administering projects within the construction space * Strong understanding of UK contractual law especially NEC contracts * Excellent negotiation and communication skills Desirable Experience * Bachelor’s degree in construction or industrial engineering * ERP Software experience or exposure with CEMAR Keywords – NEC, CONSTRUCTION, PROJECTS, ADMINISTRATOR, CONTRACTS
