We’re looking for a warm, inspiring Assistant Manager who can lead by example, support our team’s growth, and deliver exceptional service to our guests. Key Responsibilities * Support daily operations of a busy, high-turnover pub and restaurant. * Deliver a warm welcome and ensure memorable guest experiences. * Motivate and develop the team to perform at their best. * Drive sales and uphold high standards across all areas. * Lead the team in the absence of the General Manager. * Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain food quality. * Promote the business through events, promotions, and community engagement. * Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements. Availability Requirements * Weekend and evening availability is essential – key shifts are rotated among managers. * Must be over 18 and eligible to hold a Personal Licence for alcohol sales. * Own transport required – some shifts fall outside public transport hours. * No live-in accommodation – a close commute is important. Candidate Profile * Natural leader with a passion for hospitality. * Hands-on, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. * Experienced in high-volume environments. * Skilled at recognising and nurturing talent. * Organised, tidy, and confident in decision-making. * Excellent communicator with a UK driving licence. * Personal Licence Holder or willing to obtain one.
