Job Title: Site Supervisor Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex Duration: Ongoing Project: Multi-Storey Car Park Salary: Competitive Day Rate Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Freelance / Contract About the Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor on behalf of our client, a well-respected contractor delivering a high-spec multi-storey car park project in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor who can coordinate subcontractors, ensure site safety, and support the site team in delivering quality work on time. Key Responsibilities: * Day-to-day supervision of site activities * Managing and coordinating subcontractors (e.g., groundworkers, formwork, drainage teams) * Ensuring works are completed safely, to spec, and on schedule * Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks * Monitoring health & safety compliance across the site * Reporting progress and site issues to the Site Manager or Project Manager * Maintaining accurate site records and documentation Requirements: * Previous experience supervising construction works – ideally on car parks or concrete frame structures * Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, and general civils packages * SMSTS (essential) * Valid CSCS card * First Aid at Work * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Ability to lead by example and maintain a proactive site culture What’s on Offer: * Ongoing work on a long-term project * Opportunity to work with a reputable contractor * Competitive day rate * Immediate start available Apply Now: If you're an experienced Site Supervisor looking for your next contract, apply with your CV today
