Kitchen Porter

We are seeking dedicated and hard-working kitchen porters to join our client’s kitchen team at a Hayling Island hotel, as part of a 6-week kitchen repair project. SPLIT SHIFTS - 8am–12pm / 6pm-10pm 5 days per week with 2 days off (rota based) £12.21ph The ideal candidates will have a background in the restaurant or hospitality industry and have worked in a similar role. RESPONSIBILITIES * Wash, rinse, and sanitise all pots, pans, and cooking utensils used in food preparation and service * Maintain a clean and organised pot wash area throughout the shift * Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment * Report any damaged or broken equipment to the kitchen supervisor promptly REQUIREMENTS * Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential * Strong attention to detail * Ability to work efficiently under pressure * Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude * Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness AS THE ROLE IS ON HAYLING ISLAND, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT OR CAN MAKE REALISTIC TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS TO GET TO SITE AND HOME, IN LINE WITH THE SHIFT TIMES INDT
