Stone mason (Fixing & CNC experience)

Location: Basildon and Upminster Job Type: Permanent About Us: One of our clients specialises in high-quality stonework, joinery, and marble craftsmanship, delivering bespoke projects for prestigious clients, including high-end restaurants and luxury developments. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Stonemason with a strong background in fixing and CNC operations to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: • Work with a variety of stone materials, including marble, to create bespoke installations. • Carry out precision stone fixing on-site, ensuring all work meets design specifications and client standards. • Operate CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish stone components with accuracy and detail. • Interpret and work from technical drawings, collaborating with CAD designers and workshop teams. • Maintain tools and machinery, ensuring they are in excellent working condition. • Adhere to health and safety regulations both on-site and in the workshop. Requirements: • Proven experience as a stonemason, with a focus on fixing and CNC operations. • Proficient in working with marble and other natural stones. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately. • Hands-on experience operating CNC machines for stone processing. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
