What’s on Offer * £13 - £14 per hour depending on experience * Part-time hours (25-35 per week) with a range of shifts across breakfast, lunch, and dinner * Opportunity to work in a highly rated venue with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere * Experience private dining and event catering in a busy kitchen environment * A positive team culture focused on personal and professional development Your Role * Prepare and cook consistently excellent dishes according to established recipes and standards * Support kitchen operations including stock management, ordering, and minimising waste * Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards in line with health and safety regulations * Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver smooth service, especially during busy periods * Contribute ideas to menu development and help enhance guest dining experiences * Participate in a working trial as part of the recruitment process (mandatory) What We’re Looking For * Flexibility to cover days off, holidays and busy evenings. * Proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally as a Chef de Partie or similar * Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations * Ability to stay calm, organised, and focused under pressure * Good communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively in a team * Flexibility with shift patterns including split shifts and weekend work About the Venue This well-established hotel features comfortable guest accommodation, a 25-seat restaurant and bar, and several event spaces for private dining, meetings, weddings, and celebrations — catering for up to 180 guests.
