Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a Design & Build main contractor experiencing significant growth, is looking to appoint an Assistant or Postgraduate Quantity Surveyor to join their head office team in Hoddesdon. With all Q4 2025 and Q1 2026 work already secured, this is an excellent time to join a stable and ambitious business with a clear path for progression. Working directly under the Managing Director, receiving hands on "at the desk" daily extensive training, you will support the commercial function and gain hands-on experience across a variety of duties, including: Preparing take-offs and assisting with cost planning Issuing tender packages and liaising with subcontractors Supporting commercial administration and project cost tracking This is an office-based role with the opportunity to grow as the business grows, with a long-term path towards leading the commercial department. Sectors of work include commercial Cat A & B fit-outs, hospitality schemes, and retail refurbishments. Ideal for someone looking to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive team
