Electrical Supervisor – Hotel Refurbishment, SW1 (Westminster, London) £270 per day (9-hour day) | Paid Weekly by Subcontractor 5–6 Month Contract Start Date: ASAP Hill McGlynn is working in partnership with a leading M&E subcontractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a high-end hotel refurbishment project located in SW1, Westminster. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-phase, 5–6 month project involving the strip-out and full electrical refit of kitchens, bars, and other key internal areas across three floors of a prestigious central London hotel. The Role: As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing site-based electrical teams, managing the coordination of works across multiple phases, and ensuring high standards of installation, safety, and compliance. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring technical knowledge, strong leadership, and a proactive attitude. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the strip-out, 1st and 2nd fix, and installation of new electrical systems * Supervise and coordinate teams of electricians and improvers * Ensure quality and compliance with current regulations and drawings * Liaise with site and project management to ensure works are delivered on time * Assist with planning and phasing across 3 floors and multiple work areas * Maintain accurate records, progress updates, and safety checks * Support toolbox talks and site safety briefings Requirements: * Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial or hospitality projects * Strong understanding of 1st & 2nd fix electrical works and containment systems * Experience managing multi-phase internal refurbishments * ECS Gold Card (Supervisor level preferred) * SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Able to commit to the full 5–6 month project duration What’s on Offer: * £270 per day, based on a 9-hour shift * Paid weekly by the subcontractor * Long-term contract with potential for follow-on work * High-profile refurbishment project in central London * Opportunity to lead a skilled team on a complex, phased fit-out Apply Today If you're an experienced Electrical Supervisor looking for your next long-term contract, please apply by submitting your CV today
