About the Clinician's Workday This role consists of 24-hour in-house call shifts. The hospitalist will provide emergency GYN coverage, perform first assists, and have first assist support available. The hospitalist will also back up midwives and family practice providers. The facility averages 167 total hospital deliveries per month, with hospitalists managing approximately 40-50 deliveries monthly and handling around 318 additional patient encounters. MFM support is available one day per week for consultations. There is a residency program in place, in-house anesthesia coverage, and backup available for hospitalists.
