Overview Grotta Giusti Thermal & Spa Resort, Autograph Collection by Marriott, with 68 rooms, is a 5-star spa and wellness resort that provides authentic experiences for avid travelers who seek to feel loved, cherished and indulged in a genuine Italian lifestyle, offering a unique experience in the biggest natural thermal grotto in Europe. The resort is located between Florence, Pisa and Lucca and is surrounded by an age-old park with recreated spa and thermal facilities. Job Aims & Requirements For the two thermal resorts mentioned above, we are searching for a motivated and passionate Sales Trainee who, reporting to the Cluster Sales Manager and the Cluster Sales Executive, executes and oversees activities related to leisure and MICE segments, working in full synergy with on-property and above-property teams. Supporting the two Sales leaders, the main objective will be maximizing room nights, ADR, and total revenue for the assigned activities within the properties, also overseeing Food & Beverage and SPA commercial activities. We are looking for : A young and talented person seeking a sales opportunity Results oriented with excellent analytical and computer skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Proactive, independent, decisive Mandatory Fluent in Italian & a good level English (B2 or C1) This position will be based at Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort, Tuscany, Autograph Collection, and at Bagni di Pisa Palace & Thermal Spa. The two locations are nearly 40 kilometers apart. Board and lodging are not included for this job offer. Scope of the Role Sales activities : Participate alongside colleagues in designated trade, service, and community associations Support the Sales Department in representing Grotta Giusti and Bagni di Pisa on sales calls, workshops, and trade shows as assigned by the manager Monitor competitive hotels to ensure continual market share improvement; analyze and report results Plan and execute weekly sales appointments, sales promotions, and follow-ups to achieve and exceed revenue targets Keep CRM software up to date with sales calls, account information, tasks, projects, etc. Review customer base to identify new opportunities for account penetration Contribute ideas to improve products and services offered Leverage Marriott and LHW sales and marketing programs, resources, and international offices to maximize impact Develop opportunities with territory and local community to increase Spa and F&B revenues; organize monthly events and promotions for residents and non-residents Assist the sales manager and sales executive with digital and social media activities Support the hotel in reporting and preparation of meetings and presentations Internal Communication activities Maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments Create a positive working environment and act as a team player Ensure Brand standards are met at all levels and adjust where needed Participate in meetings as required, sharing key information on sales activities, special bookings, business forecasts, and competition Prepare reports as required The Role: Core Competencies These are the personal skills, qualities, and attributes you will need to demonstrate to carry out your job effectively.
