Energy Sales Consultant / B2B Business Development Sales Executive who has a solid sales background within a B2B sales environment is required to join our Team at Northern Gas and Power. ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED – FULL PRODUCT AND SALES TRAINING PROVIDED If you have experience in the Energy Sector, then great. If not, don’t worry. This isn’t essential, providing you’re willing to learn about the industry as we’ll provide full training and support to get you up to speed. As a Corporate Sales Consultant / Energy Sales Consultant / B2B Business Development Sales Executive you’ll engage various activities such as: * Cold calling potential clients and explaining the benefits of using NGP’s services and solutions – we want someone who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone. This is a B2B role (Business to Business) * Question their current procurement strategy. Determine the customer’s current purchasing strategy and find ways to improve it. * Tender preparations and supplier negotiations. Once you’ve generated the lead, you will work effectively with your closer who will be required to prepare tenders to our panel of 87 international energy suppliers and negotiate the best procurement contract for your clients. * Manage client relationships. Once you have started to build your client portfolio, you will act as their single point of contact – managing their accounts and monitoring your pipeline for renewal or further business opportunities. * You must comply with all policies & procedures. As the Corporate Sales Consultant / Energy Sales Consultant / B2B Business Development Sales Executive you will receive a thorough onboarding process, where we will give you full industry and sales training – everything you need to onboard your first client. After this, you’ll be equipped to develop and manage your own client portfolio, enjoying a great deal of independence in organising your time and work schedule. What we’re looking for * Proven sales experience, in a B2B sales environment * Experience working in the Energy Sector (not essential) * Excellent telephone manner and communication skills – professional and articulate * Ability to work under pressure when needed and achieve sales targets * Ability to manage your own workload and pipeline * Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, professional environment * Driven character, enthusiastic and passionate * Self-motivated, with a drive and passion for success * Diversity in our heritage, inclusion in our future.
