Driver - CDL

At JTM Food Group, a family-run leader in the food industry known for our commitment to quality and service, we are looking for a dedicated CDL Driver to join our logistics team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery of our food products across various destinations, maintaining the high standards we promise our prestigious clientele, including schools, restaurants, and the military. As a CDL Driver at JTM, you will play a key role in our operation, helping us fulfill our mission to nourish communities by delivering our products safely and efficiently. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to deliver products to customers in accordance with the delivery schedule. Ensure all deliveries are done promptly and in compliance with national and local transportation regulations. Load and unload cargo while ensuring the security of the cargo during transit. Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers to maintain integrity in delivery. Maintain communication with the dispatch team to report any incidents or deviations from the planned route. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure the functionality of safety equipment and the overall vehicle readiness. Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Comply with company policies and procedures, emphasizing safety and service excellence. Proficiency in operating GPS and other navigation systems. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
