Purpose of the Role: The Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing high-value opportunities, cultivating relationships with senior corporate clients, and delivering tailored smart card solutions. Criteria Post matric accreditation relevant to the role Proven work experience as a Sales Manager in a similar technical role Proficient in the English language (to read, write and speak with English as the first language being essential) Excellent telephone skills CRM experience and sales process management Business development experience Experience in training staff Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs Relationship management skills and openness to feedback Key Performance Areas Management of the Sales Team (the role would include overseeing the junior staff as well as making direct sales) Develop and promote new business with the Sales Team Establish, and maintain positive business and customer relationships Reach out to customer leads through both hot and cold sales/calling and oversee the Sales Team in doing the same Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction Keep abreast of best practices and trends, product research and training staff Follow-up and managing of the fulfilment process and the production team to ensure that the correct goods are delivered on time to the customer Work directly with the production teams in UK, US and China. Follow up on other leads that are generated through the website or leads General Conditions: Hours of Work Due to the time zone the estimated normal working hours range between Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00 SA time or 16:00 to midnight, with after-hours work as required Work on SA public holidays, but off duty on standard US public holidays and a number of days over the Festive Season Technical Devices and Internet Connectivity Own mobile phone and laptop. Fast internet and fail proof electricity connection is essential as direct client calls will be made to the US via Skype and conference calls online. Most sales will be email driven. Training: Internal training will be given. As the field of smart cards is vast, an enthusiastic self-starter will be required for this role. Remuneration Competitive market related basic plus a lucrative commission structure (payable in USD at end of each month)
