Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny Required for Warm, Informal Family in Kent Join this friendly, busy household and make a real difference to family life Are you a proactive, organised and tech-savvy individual with a passion for working with children? We are searching for a positive, hands-on Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny to join a lovely, informal family in Kent and become an integral part of the busy home. You will be supporting a welcoming career couple and their three bright, energetic children. Their home is informal and friendly, and they value initiative and a sense of humour! Weekends are yours to enjoy, and all your accommodation, bills, and work-related travel are covered. Your Responsibilities: Family Logistics Hero: Oversee school runs, uniforms, homework and all the day-to-day activities that keep family life ticking, including after-school schedules and packed meals. Household Management: While the children are at school, you'll manage the home—keeping it clean and organised, shopping for provisions, and overseeing contractors. Cooking: Prepare home-cooked meals and nutritious packed lunches/teas when required. Tech Savvy: Use technology to coordinate logistics, schedules and communication—being on the children's level with music, gadgets and apps is a real plus! Engagement: Devise creative ways and activities to keep the children engaged and occupied, balancing fun with a firm, fair approach when needed. About You: Highly organised, resourceful and capable of running a busy family home with minimal supervision—initiative is key! Firm yet friendly with the children, able to keep them engaged and motivated. Experience in childcare/nannying highly valued, with a cheerful, positive attitude. Able to cook simple family meals and comfortable shopping for household needs. A confident driver (use of car provided for work purposes). Tech confident—you’ll use apps, smart devices, and online tools with ease. Job Details: Location: Kent Hours: 07:00 – 21:00, Monday to Friday. Flexibility during school hours for personal time if household tasks are complete. Occasional late finish if parents are working late. Accommodation: Fully furnished, all bills included. Autonomy: No micro-management! You’ll be trusted to run your day and the home efficiently. Start Date: As soon as the right person is found.
