Pay Information $1,780 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a stressful environment. Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. This unit provides care to the adult population. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:3-5. The unit is supported by patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator.
