TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Goldsboro, North Carolina, 27534! Pay Information $2,002 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry experience Description: 3x12 hour shifts or 4x12 hour shifts. Day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM including every other weekend and holiday. Travelers may be placed on-call for 1 twelve hour shift per pay period if census drops. Report-in time within 1 hour of being called back. Travelers are expected to float to similar acuities or lower as needed. Block scheduling can be accommodated as long as weekend coverage is included. Travelers may float more than once per week based on the needs of the unit. All units are interchangeable due to renovations and may handle COVID patients. No exemptions for Flu or TDAP vaccinations will be accepted. Adverse reaction notes from doctors must be included if applicable. Patient to nurse ratio is typically 1 to 5 or 6, with occasional increases to 1 to 7. Position is a backfill for a departing staff member. This is a medical acute care unit serving various patient needs including strokes, kidney disease, cardiac disease, and pulmonary disease. Travel experience is preferred. Epic charting experience is required. Education verification is necessary at the time of submission. Must be proficient in accessing ports, blood product administration, and telemetry monitoring. Skills in IV initiation, patient care for tubes, and emergency interventions are essential.
