Pay Information $2,702 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years in relevant specialty License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Open heart OR experience required. Must be able to scrub open heart cases. ECMO experience required. LVAD and Impella experience required. Charting system experience with Epic. No first-time travelers unless candidate has open heart OR experience. Description: The position requires a registered nurse specializing in cardiovascular operating room procedures. Candidates must be comfortable scrubbing open heart cases, including CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft), mitral, tricuspid, aortic valve replacements or repairs, aortic dissections, pericardial windows, and chest cases like thoracotomies and VATS. Robotic experience in chest cases is preferred. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and understand that there is a strict policy regarding tardiness and unexcused absences. All candidates must pass an EKG exam as part of the compliance process. This position requires the ability to respond to call within 30 minutes, which is non-negotiable. All travelers may be required to float to different campuses if necessary. No relevant background checks or open cases will be accepted. Compliance must be completed by specified deadlines.
