The Medical Surgical RN provides professional nursing care for a variety of medical and surgical patients. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Care is provided according to professional standards and state regulations. The RN will work in the medical-surgical departments. The nurse-patient ratio is a maximum of 6:1 in these units. This position allows for establishing meaningful relationships with patients.
