Pay Information $1,871 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: BLS and PALS required Must-Have: First-timers accepted Weekend requirement: Every third weekend Floating within scope to meet facility needs Description: Position requires a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics Medical Surgical. The nurse will float to NICU and Mother Baby as needed to care for infants. Training day will be provided for NICU and Mother Baby. Patient ratios are 1:3. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred. Daily census includes various pediatric age groups. Interdisciplinary support available includes multiple services. Essential skills include administration of blood products and management of ports. The nurse will also manage central lines, IVs, and tube feedings. Special equipment may be utilized in this unit. The role involves providing care to a diverse patient population including neonates and adolescents.
