Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/29/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Summary – Labor & Delivery RN Facility: Providence Saint John’s Health Center – Santa Monica, CA Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D RN PSJHC L AND D,2911.740000.27405) Start Date: 09/29/2025 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s, Days (07:00–19:00) Shifts/Weekends: Every other weekend required Float Requirement: Yes – to Postpartum Compensation Package Hourly Breakdown: Total Hourly Pay Rate: $81.36/hr W2 (Taxable): $24.00/hr Stipend (Non-Taxable): $57.36/hr Weekly Breakdown (36 hrs): Weekly Gross: $2,929.00/week W2 (Taxable): $864.00/week Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,065.00/week OT Rate (W2): $36.00/hr Facility Highlights Type: Acute Care Hospital (Beachside!) Beds: 266 Unit Size: 9 labor/high-risk rooms, 4 antepartum rooms, 3 triage rooms Deliveries: ~200/month Charting: Epic Parking: $38/pay period (hospital) or $16/pay period (St. Anne’s) Scrubs: Navy Blue (RNs); L&D/OR provided ✅ Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years (Travel experience required, first-timers not accepted) Certifications Required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, FHM, AWHONN Advanced Preferred Skills: Scrub for C-section, postpartum couplet care Work Settings: High-risk L&D, antepartum, PACU, OR for C-sections Other Notes: Not known for high-risk population but confidentiality is crucial (celebrity patients) Must be comfortable with floating, including postpartum care No call required Additional Information Travel Experience Required – minimum of 1 prior travel assignment; first-time travelers not accepted RTO Policy – All time-off must be submitted at time of application; limited RTO allowed Guaranteed Hours – Facility may call off once per 2-week pay period Floating – Required to Postpartum as needed Local Radius Rule – Within 50 miles considered local (lower local rate applies) References – 2 supervisory references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years Compliance – LA Fire Card required within 30 days (non-reimbursable) Return Policy – Former staff may return after 3 months Holidays – Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year’s Day) COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required Flu Vaccine: Unknown About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
