Pay Information $1,887 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active Blue Card CPI required Certifications: BLS and CPI Must-Have: Ability to assess patients' mental health status, including recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders, substance use, and behavioral problems. Crisis intervention skills including de-escalation techniques and appropriate medication management. Knowledge of psychotropic medications is essential. Experience in therapeutic communication, building trust and rapport with patients. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty in behavioral health. The unit serves a diverse patient population including adolescents and adults with varying levels of acuity. Nurses will work in an environment that requires patient ratios of 8 to 1 for nurses and 12 to 1 for mental health technicians. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and administering psychiatric medications. Nurses will monitor patients for physical and psychological symptoms, including vital signs and medication effects. All staff are expected to embody values of integrity, compassion, and respect, and communicate effectively using established protocols.
