Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Conroe, TX

We are seeking a Locums OBGYN Physician to provide coverage in a busy OB Hospitalist model at a well-established hospital in Conroe, Texas. This role offers a combination of weekend OB hospitalist coverage and emergency department call coverage each month. Position Details: Schedule: OB Hospitalist Coverage: Friday, Saturday, Sunday – onsite during the day, on-call at night ED Call Coverage: 14 days per month, 24-hour call Patient Volume: ~10 patients/day Setting: Inpatient – Labor & Delivery, OB triage, and ED call EMR: Meditech Responsibilities: Provide labor and delivery coverage, including managing vaginal and cesarean deliveries Handle obstetric emergencies, high-risk pregnancies, and gynecologic emergencies Manage OB triage patients and provide consults for ED cases Perform gynecologic surgeries as needed Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, and pediatric teams to ensure quality patient care Respond to urgent and emergent calls from the ED Requirements: MD or DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active Texas medical license (or IMLC eligible) Current DEA Experience in hospital-based OB/GYN and ED call coverage Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Just north of Houston, Conroe offers a blend of small-town charm and big-city amenities.
