Clubhouse Operations Manager - Cronulla Golf Club

Cronulla Golf Club is currently seeking a Clubhouse Operations Manager to oversee our Food & Beverage and Gaming (F&B) operations, ensuring financial sustainability and exceptional service standards. We are looking for a motivated, customer focused Operations Manager with a proven ability to lead a team of hospitality professionals using well-developed leadership, team building and communication skills. The Clubhouse Operations Manager is responsible for Overseeing the club’s Food, Beverage, Gaming and Functions operations , ensuring budgeted profit and service targets are met. The Club currently as a 3rd party arrangement (outsourced) with a caterer, however is responsible for the front of house bistro operations. This includes the mentoring, supervising and training of the Club’s Bar, Catering (FOH) and Gaming business divisions. You will take ownership of the entire clubhouse services suite and have previous experience implementing advertising and marketing strategies to increase turnover and enhance the performance of the club. The role is responsible for the supervision of the clubhouse operations, assisting in the development and formulation of club strategies to achieve both short- and long-term objectives and to expand present activities. You will work closely with the General Manager of the Club and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clubhouse, and will support the GM in the welfare of the club’s facilities within the financial framework and policies of the Club. To be successful in the role you will have excellent people skills, with an emphasis on establishing strong relationships across all areas of the club. We are looking for someone with strong initiative, who is proactive with energy and drive. • Qualifications & Requirements: RSA and ARCG WWCC Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality operations, preferably in a club environment. Golf Club experience advantageous but not essential. Current Driver’s Licence . Knowledge of the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 is highly desirable . • High level of understanding of relevant awards and industrial matters Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Experience in gaming operations (preferred)
