We are currently looking for a passionate professional to join the team at Lady and the Fox. We are seeking a part time pastry chef to shape the dessert and pasty offerings at Lady and the Fox. You will collaborate with our culinary team to ensure a seamless integration of flavours and aesthetics across all sweet and pastry offerings. Qualifications & experience Qualified pastry chef with more than 3 years experience in a similar environment Knowledge and understanding of current food trends within the industry Victorian Drivers License Proven experience in the delivery and execution of baked and dessert offerings to a high and consistent standard A minimum Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery or Patisserie or other relevant qualifications. Tasks & responsibilities Oversee a diverse range of desserts, sweets, slices and baked goods. Work with kitchen management to ensure production levels and requirements are met, on time and budget with minimal waste. Apply artistic finesse and innovation to constantly improve and maintain the highest standards possible. Maintain a safe, clean and organised pastry kitchen environment. Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to continually elevate our dessert offerings. Clear and concise communication skills both written and oral.
