Attorney-General's Department Job reference: 692163 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Long Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone Classification: ASO5 Salary Range: $85,790 - $95,413 superannuation Duration: Term (up to 2 years) Vacancy Type: Full Time Number of Positions Available: 1 Closing Date: 11:30pm, Thursday 28th August 2025 About the Opportunity The Policy and Project Officer is a key member of a high-performing team in the Attorney-General’s Department, responsible for designing and managing policy projects identified by the Attorney-General, Chief Executive, other executives, or the Manager Justice Strategy and Funding, and works collaboratively across the justice sector to deliver shared outcomes. The Policy and Project Officer will be required to apply analytical skills in undertaking and delivering program and policy projects, preparing briefs with key recommendations, and drafting other correspondence as required. About the Business The Attorney-General’s Department’s (AGD) Justice Policy and Analytics business unit provides policy advice and analytical insights to the Attorney-General, the department and the justice sector. The business unit also leads and engages with justice reform projects, and has lead responsibility for the National Access to Justice Partnership 2025-2030, as well as a number of justice-related funding programs.
