Permanent full-time Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Advanced (Identified), ATSIWAES, Townsville Hospital, HWF3. Join the Cultural Assessment and Liaison Team to deliver culturally sensitive mental health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients within the Child and Youth Mental Health Service. About the work unit / facility Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Assessment Engagement Services (ATSIWAES) ATSIWAES is part of the Mental Health Service Group at Townsville Hospital and Health Service, delivering culturally appropriate mental health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients. About your opportunity As a member of the Cultural Assessment and Liaison Team, you will provide cultural guidance, advocacy, and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients accessing mental health services. Requirements This is an Identified role under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991. Mandatory qualifications include Certificate IV or Diploma in relevant health fields. A Blue Card and Class C Driver's Licence are required.
