We have a great opportunity to join our Hardwood Forest Division as a Forestry Worker in Batemans Bay/ Narooma which will see you performing a variety of field-based tasks in the great outdoors. You will also be part of the organization’s fire readiness strategy. About the role: Join us in maintaining and building State Forest infrastructure that enhances recreation and community access. You’ll help protect sustainable forest values through visitor surveys, environmental and safety audits, and be ready to support firefighting or hazard reduction burns when needed. We would love you to have/be: Experience in bushfire fighting Team player with the ability to work extended hours Experience and / or qualifications in off-road driving, chainsaw use and chemical application First aid qualification Truck licence (MR.) Relevant qualification in Forestry Management or Natural Resource Management or basic TAFE will also be considered.
