OPEN POSITION A lawyer with an Australian Law Degree and 3years PQE in one or more of the following areas: Civil litigation; Criminal litigation; or and Family litigation. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A successful candidate will meet the following criteria: Self-motivated and passionate to get the best outcome for clients. Desire to deliver exceptional customer service and have good listening skills and manners. A quick learner who is resilient and confident in dealing with difficult situations. Competently run and drive your own files and meet deadlines under the partner's guidance. Possess the ability to meet budget of 4 times. Have a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills. Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Be able to speak and read at least one Asian languages. Capacity to work full time. WHO WE ARE We are a boutique law firm on Collins St, focusing on litigation (civil, family, and criminal law) as well as commercial law. Established in 2006, we have been well-known for providing fixed costs, excelling in all kinds of litigation, outstanding customer services (all enquires are returned within 24 hours, lawyers are always accessible and weekly updates to client), being good at complex commercial deals and working with many high profile Chinese companies’ clients (big franchises and listed companies) and individuals such as councillors and government officials. In the past 17 years, our focus was on the Chinese Market only (local, interstate and international clients) and our mission was to be the top Chinese law firm in Australia. However, rather than staying in our comfort zone as one of the top Chinese law firms, we now strive to become the top Asian Law firm and have offices in other states. We will expand into the entire Asian markets (Korean, Japanese, Malaysia, Vietnamese, Philippines, Thai) by delivering the same outstanding level of customer service and using our skill and knowledge to get the best outcomes for all clients. We focus on the following area of law: Civil matters, our clients range from individuals and small businesses to large public companies, within a wide variety of backgrounds and industries including hospitality, retail, professionals, franchising, government officials and finance. Criminal matters – all kinds – from summary offences to indictable offences (driving offence, theft, drug, rape, money laundering, serious assault).
