This is an excellent opportunity to take control of your schedule with day, swing, or overnight shifts —all from the comfort of your home. With expedited credentialing , a responsive medical director, and fully integrated systems, you’ll be empowered to focus on high-quality reads without administrative drag. Position Snapshot Location: Remote (supporting Elk Grove, IL) Contract Type: Locum Tenens – 1099 Modality: Diagnostic Radiology (Plain Films, CT, MR) Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing Shifts Available: Day: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM CST Late Day: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST Swing: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM CST Overnight: 11:59 PM – 7:00 AM CST Case Mix & Platform Modalities: CT, MRI (abdomen/joints preferred), Plain Films Patient Sources: ED, inpatient, outpatient Stroke Protocol: CT perfusion reads preferred (not required) PACS/RIS: Modern PACS PowerScribe voice dictation Volume & Performance Expectations Average Reads/8-Hour Shift: 70–80 studies Turnaround Times: Stroke Alert: ED STAT: 30–60 minutes Inpatient STAT: Critical Results: Communicated within 60 minutes Final Reads (IP/OP): Candidate Requirements Board Certified: ABR/AOBR in Diagnostic Radiology Licensure: Active IL license or IMLC eligibility CT Perfusion Proficiency: Preferred or willingness to train Experience: Must have recent diagnostic read volume Record: Clean malpractice and disciplinary history Why Choose Rhino Medical for Teleradiology?
