Senior Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Senior Forklift Operator (Sit Down or Stand Up) to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. Key Responsibilities : Operate sit-down or stand up forklifts to move, stack, and load sheet metal products and materials within the warehouse. Perform routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safe operation. Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking and recording the movement of goods. Collaborate with warehouse staff to fulfill orders and maintain optimal workflow. Follow safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting as needed. Train and mentor junior forklift operators, promoting best practices in forklift operation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Wide load experience preferred. Valid forklift operator certification (must be current and valid). Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
