Job Description Job Description Happy Tails Resort is currently seeking a professional, experienced groomer. Your approach to grooming dogs must be compassionate, patient and caring with attention to detail. Responsibilities for Dog Groomer Clean the dog's teeth and cut nails Maintain an upbeat attitude Calm an anxious dog Ensure company policies are being followed Maintain your appointments and invoices Keep a clean and sanitized work area Make sure all grooming dogs have up to date required vaccines Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need Shampoo and wash a dog's hair or fur and empty anal glands Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners Cut or shave a dog's hair or fur. Qualifications for Dog Groomer Must have completed a grooming program or have 2 years' experience grooming Ability to work with other groomers Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 50 pounds or more Grooming abilities Calming presence to sooth dogs Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time Ability to pass a background check Great communication skills Ability to work on a team Company Description Happy Tails Resort is a daycare, grooming, and boarding facility.
