Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Work in 4-room cardiac catheterization lab with 1 patient per room • Maintain 1:1 patient ratios • Work with all GE equipment and documentation systems including Meditech and MacLab • Maximum 15 days call during critical periods • Day shift requires minimum 3 staff members per room • Night shift operates with on-call team of 4 staff members on STEMI call • Perform cardiac catheterizations, cerebral angiograms, stent procedures, balloon procedures, and ENT lab scrubbing • Must have BLS and ACLS certifications • Must have neuro experience • RCIS and ARRT certifications required • Unit provides surgical scrubs • Participate in daily huddle calls • Work within a 22-person team consisting of RNs and technologists Facility: This healthcare facility features a well-established cardiac catheterization laboratory with gold seal of approval recognition.
