Looking for a meaningful role where you can make a real impact in healthcare? Bayshore Healthcare is hiring a Part-Time Receptionist for The Greystone Transitional Care Unit (TCU). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced care environment and is passionate about supporting patients, families, and clinical teams with professionalism and heart. Weekend availability is required to support the needs of our unit and ensure consistent care. What You’ll Be Doing Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors with warmth, compassion, and professionalism Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, creating a calm and welcoming environment Manage a busy multi-line phone system, answering and transferring calls efficiently Monitor and maintain the front lobby area to ensure it is clean, safe, and organized Support the care team with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, and internal communications Handle sensitive patient and corporate information with discretion and confidentiality Participate in health and safety initiatives and report any risks or concerns to your supervisor Engage in ongoing learning and contribute to quality improvement activities Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support smooth daily operations Demonstrate flexibility and initiative by assisting with additional tasks as needed What You Bring Secondary School Diploma (clerical/receptionist training preferred) Minimum 2 years of receptionist experience, ideally in a healthcare or similar setting Strong communication and multitasking skills Proficiency with Windows software and multi-line phone systems A caring, proactive attitude and a commitment to confidentiality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment Availability to work weekends and adapt to changing unit needs Bayshore is committed to a high quality and safe environment for both our staff and clients/patients.
