Quality Engineer - Abingdon - £Competitive

A fast-growing, advanced manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a hands-on role in a precision engineering environment, supporting the ongoing development and improvement of a robust AS9100 and ISO9001-compliant quality management system. You'll be part of a high-calibre engineering team, helping deliver best-in-class metal components for some of the most demanding sectors. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and enhance AS9100 and ISO9001-compliant QMS Conduct internal audits and support external quality assessments Analyse process and product data to drive improvements Draft and revise operational and quality documentation Implement corrective actions and track non-conformances Train teams on quality systems and ensure compliance What You'll Bring: Degree in Engineering or a related scientific field Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality-focused role Strong analytical mindset and eye for detail Experience in a precision manufacturing environment Confident working independently and as part of a fast-moving team Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Bonus if you have: Experience in metal additive manufacturing Flexibility to support shift-based operations when required Why Apply?
