HGV Class 1 & 2 Driver Location: North Birmingham Excellent Pay Rates: £15.94 per hour PAYE Full-Time Temp-to-Perm - 4 days Class 1 & remaining days Class 2 (Alcohol Delivery with Heavy Lifting) Pertemps are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for an excellenet temp-to-perm opportunity working for a nationwide drinks supplier. This is a full-time position, with the majority of the week spent on Class 1 trunking (4 days) and the remaining shifts covering Class 2 2 curbside deliveries, which involve heavy lifting/ handball of kegs and cases to pubs, bars and restaurants. Drivers must also be flexible to cover holiday on nights as required! This role offers stability, variety, and the chance to join permanently after the initial temp period! HGV Class 1 & 2 Driver Requirements: - Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence (held for AT LEAST 12 months) - Minimum 12 months' Class 1 Driving Experience - Flexibility to cover Class 2 curbside multi-drop, including heavy handball - Good communication and customer service skills - Willingness to cover holiday shifts on nights when required HGV Class 1 & 2 Driver Shifts/ Pay: - Full-time, temp to perm - 4 days Class 1 Trunking Remaining shifts on Class 2 Deliveries - £15.94 per hour PAYE - Weekly / Monthly pay via BACS HGV Class 1 & 2 Driver Benefits: - Temp-to-perm progression for long-term stability - Paid Annual Leave - Free Uniform - CPC / Driver Training - 24-hour contact with consultants If you're a professional Class 1 Driver with at least 1 years' experience, and you're happy to include Class 2 alochol deliveries with heavy lifting in your working week - plus being flexible for occasional night holiday cover - we'd love to hear from you!
