TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, 56283! Pay Information $2,398 per week About The Position Job Title: OB/L&D Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year with strong OB experience License: MN state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring Must-Have: MedSurg experience required; OB experience required Description: Position is for an OB/L&D Registered Nurse. Shifts are 3x12 hours, both day and night. A weekend requirement of every other weekend or every third weekend is needed. No on-call requirement is expected. Patient ratios for all shifts are 1:4. First-time travelers are accepted. Pending licenses are accepted, provided proof of application date is included. Clinicians may float within the scope to meet facility needs as required. Open to accommodating block schedules depending on need. The OB portion of the position includes labor delivery, postpartum, nursery, and couplet care. All staff must have MedSurg and OB experience. Special procedures may include triage of labor patients, cervical exams, and treatment for labor patients. Critical care knowledge is crucial, with experience in recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Neonatal resuscitation skills are beneficial. Daily census may range from 1-8 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes a variety of health professionals. No local candidates will be accepted. Finalized requests for time off must be included with submission. There is no time off allowed within the first week of the assignment, and no more than 10 days of time off per assignment is permitted.
