About The Position Paris, Texas Anesthesiologist Locum Tenens Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologists (MD/DO) for a long-term locum tenens assignment in northeast Texas . This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative anesthesia care team in a full-service medical center, offering diverse case exposure, steady scheduling, and strong clinical support. Assignment Highlights Location: Paris, TX Contract Type: Physician – Locum Tenens (Anesthesiology) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Long-term (6 months) with potential extension Schedule: Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Call Coverage: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM with post-call day off Weekends: Preference for 24-hour in-house call coverage Expectation: Full-time, 2–3 weeks/month Practice Details Staffing Model: Care team approach with 4 Anesthesiologists & 7 CRNAs Practice Model: Medically Directed Clinical Scope: Case Types: OB, Urology, Vascular, IR, General Surgery OB: High-risk including VBACs Other Specialties: GYN, Cancer, Liver, ENT, Pulmonary, Radiology with anesthesia, light Cardiac (TEE & Brain-back) Procedural Skills: Must be proficient in spinals, epidurals, and blocks Daily Volume: 8 ORs active ASC with ~2,100 endoscopy cases annually Support: Full OR team anesthesia-only call room for in-house call shifts Hospital Size: 152 beds EMR: Epic (hospital) / Medaxion (anesthesia charting) Candidate Requirements Board Certification: ABA – Anesthesiology (or BE within 3 years) Licensure: Active & unrestricted Texas Medical License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Caselogs: 350 cases within past 12 months (must include OB, spinals, epidurals, and blocks) Credentialing: 60–90 days (expedited temporary privileges available for clean files) Why This Opportunity?
