Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,569 per week in Bend, OR

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year minimum required License: Pending State License Accepted Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: ARRT Description: Responsibilities include supporting procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The daily caseload per department is approximately 15. Charting is done using any electronic system. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend on-call requirement includes one call weekend every 3-5 weeks. There is a two-hour call back minimum with 8 call days required within a 4-week period, including on-call availability from Friday to Monday. Availability for 24-hour on-call coverage on weekends is required. Travelers will float within the cath lab unit to meet facility needs. Attempts will be made to schedule shifts as consistently as possible. Local candidates are not accepted. Recreational time off restrictions include a maximum of 7 days. Daily procedures performed include structural heart interventions such as TAVR, Mitraclip, and Watchman, with support from the in-house cath lab team. Specialties also include interventional radiology, neurovascular, and electrophysiology. Commonly used equipment includes Philips imaging systems, IVUS, IFR, FFR, and various devices for interventional procedures. Additional skills required include equipment set-up, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and maintaining sterile techniques during procedures. Support from interdisciplinary teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services is available within the unit. The patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census for the unit is approximately 15 patients. The unit consists of 5 procedure rooms and has a patient capacity of 220 beds.
