Job Description Job Description Salary: BARTENDER JOB SUMMARY Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years experience bartending with cocktail and tequila knowledge. Ideal candidate would have evening availability (shifts start at 4pm). Ideal candidate is looking for 4 shifts a week. The Bartenders job is to make and serve consistent cocktails while guiding the guest through their dining experience with grace, charm and warm hospitality. Bartenders are required to learn the cocktail recipes and build every cocktail on the Aejo cocktail menu to spec. A basic understanding of agave spirits is required and learning about the individual products we offer is also a must. Bartenders perform duties in a pleasant, conscientious, fun, energetic, and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Must be able to work in a team. Teamwork is essential at Aejo. Must have the able to stay clean and organized throughout a shift Must remain friendly and enthusiastic for the entire shift Must appear graceful and calm everywhere in the restaurant Must Arrive to work looking sharp and professional. Your appearance is the guests first impression of you. Must be able to handle problems and difficult situations effectively Must have an excellent ability to take direction and work in a team environment Must be committed to Hospitality and our guests. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Walk and stand for entire shift Lift and carry racks or stacks of dishes, glassware and other utensils Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and lifting. Working indoors and outdoors Frequent washing of hands Clean and presentable appearance Able to work efficiently in crowded and tight areas KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Special knowledge or skills necessary for this position: Product knowledge. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of agave spirits. Knowledge of workplace safety procedures Health Department procedures Ability to pour drinks with a jigger Understanding of how to craft a cocktail Can produce hand crafted cocktails that are shaken, stirred and built
