Job Description

Overview This role is based within an established restaurant within an upmarket estate, and reports to the Head Chef. Minimum Requirements / Experience Grade 12 / Matric Diploma in Professional Cookery (City and Guilds or similar) 2 years’ experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices Experience in stock take, orders and stock management Good understanding of MS Office and restaurant software programs Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to oversee kitchen when head chef is not present
