Job Description

Overview Role Overview Are you passionate about data engineering and ready to take your skills to the next level? We’re looking for someone who thrives on designing robust data pipelines, optimizing data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. What You Will Do Data Architecture and Data engineering: Supervise the design of data models and structures to support scalable and maintainable solutions. Define and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and documentation. Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation. Collaborate on the selection and integration of appropriate technologies and tools. Oversee data lifecycle management, including retention, archival, and disposal strategies. Ensure data quality, security, and governance throughout the pipeline and the whole project. Data Integration and Transformation: Extract, integrate, and organize data from various sources (databases, APIs, external systems). Cleanse and transform data for analysis and reporting. Create efficient data pipelines that seamlessly move data from source systems to our modern data warehouse (Databricks). Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business intelligence teams to optimize models and algorithms. Act as a point of contact between business and technical teams, speaking both business and technical language. Nice to have Infrastructure Management: Set up and manage infrastructure components, including Virtual Machines, Networking, and Application Services (AWS and Azure). Maintain data platforms, data stores, and distributed systems. Cyber security: Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts. What We Are Looking For Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, or related quantitative field Experience : At least 3 years of experience in data management, including data integration, modeling, and optimization. Skills : Proficiency in modern data architectures (cloud services, data warehouses); strong knowledge of SQL and programming languages for data manipulation; proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Scala; fluent in English with strong communication skills to work cross-collaboratively; knowledge of Big Data tools such as Hive or Spark.
