Quantity Surveyor

Role: Quantity Surveyors Location: Belfast & Cookstown Hours: Full-time Pay: Negotiable Benefits: Company Vehicle, Private Healthcare, Pension We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join a leading construction contractor delivering projects across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will work across a variety of contracts, supporting cost management, tendering, valuations, and client liaison to ensure projects are delivered profitably and on time. Responsibilities: Analyse drawings and specifications to determine labour, material and subcontract requirements. Prepare enquiry documents, source quotations, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors. Complete monthly valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts. Liaise with clients on rates, variations, and cost analysis. Attend progress meetings and provide monthly reports. Work closely with management and accounts teams on cost control. The Requirements: Degree / HND / HNC in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (or equivalent experience). Minimum 2 years experience in a Quantity Surveying / Estimating role within a main contractor. Strong commercial acumen, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Project. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
