The opportunity to follow your own compass Role: Operations Specialist, EMEA Location: Stone Island HQ, Mi lan Role and Responsibilities As part of the Global Retail Excellence Department, the Resources will support the Retail direct Store Operations activities and coordinate with Regional Managers to ensure smooth running of all activities. New Openings: oversee all activities related to retail development including new store openings, relocations, refurbishments, and temporary stores. Coordinate with store design and all involved departments to implement technical infrastructures and preparatory activities, aiming to design, execute, and launch each store to high quality standards. Store Landlord coordination: act as main point of contact during negotiation and contractual phases of operational aspects with landlords. Maintenance: manage maintenance and improvement requests for existing stores, ensuring timely, quality interventions within budget and maintaining store image. Operational support to Safety & Security: ensure installation and proper functioning of safety equipment according to standards. Store Handbook & Guidelines: manage and update company procedures regionally, create and share operational manuals for clear application of activities in compliance with guidelines. Operational Efficiency: coordinate with stores to implement new projects and consolidate existing ones, ensuring adherence to guidelines; collaborate with IT to ensure full functionality of systems supporting store operations; develop regional projects to improve efficiency and keep processes up to date with trends. Non-merchandise Management: oversee non-merchandise purchasing for stores within the area (packaging, uniforms, stationery), ensuring compliance with global and regional flows; implement new processes as needed; collaborate with Sustainability to adhere to guidelines and targets on environmental matters. P&L & Budget Management: monitor and manage store costs in coordination with Global Operations Manager, ensuring compliance with budget. Inventory Management: schedule, train, and supervise store inventories; work with Retail Managers to maintain and reduce inventory discrepancies. Key Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in a similar role; excellent communication skills. Experience in project management / sales roles in Fashion Retail / Hospitality, preferablyLuxury and Contemporary Retail environments. Economy, Enterprise Management experience; ability to deal with people and work as a team. Trustworthy, flexible, and proactive; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, 365, especially Excel.
