TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Garrison, North Dakota, 58540! Pay Information $2,056 per week About The Position Job Title: LTC/SNF RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Day/Night Rotate Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Experience License: Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Long Term Care Experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in long-term care. The facility has 26 beds and primarily cares for patients with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. The nurse will act as charge nurse, administer medications, and perform wound care. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:10 during the day shift and 1:19 during the night shift. There are no intravenous therapies or titratable drips on this unit. There are no telemetry monitors, and RNs are not required to read strips. The Registered Nurse will not attend team conferences as no acute inpatient rehabilitation care is provided. There is no on-site respiratory therapy available. Oxygen therapy equipment includes concentrators and portable concentrators. The medication dispensing system is off-site. Shifts are scheduled for 12 hours from 7 AM to 7 PM, with no blocked schedules or self-scheduling. Weekend requirements include working every other weekend. Holiday requirements involve working every other major holiday. There are no call or standby requirements. Floating is not required. The dress code requires clean and presentable attire. Unit-specific orientation includes 2 to 3 shifts. Please provide time-off requests upfront, with a limit of 7 or fewer days over the 13-week contract.
