Location: Medford, OR Medford offers a picturesque setting in Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley, known for its beautiful landscapes, outdoor recreational opportunities, and thriving wine region. The city provides an excellent quality of life with a mild climate and easy access to both mountains and coastal areas. Facility: This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility providing comprehensive emergency services to the community. With an annual volume of 37,000 patients, this Level 3 trauma center offers a supportive work environment with 24-hour availability of key support services including anesthesia, catheterization lab, general surgery, laboratory, neuro-surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology. Opportunity: Board Certified/Board Eligible - Emergency Medicine Job Details: • Locum tenens position covering both day and night shifts (primary need is for night shifts) • Day shift hours: 9am-9pm (12-hour shifts) • Night shift hours: 11pm-6am (may occasionally extend to 7am) • Average of 16 patient encounters per shift • Seeking 2-3 providers to cover approximately 30 shifts per month • Shorter shift schedules may be accommodated but cannot be guaranteed • Must be licensed in Oregon • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency • ATLS certification required • Level 3 trauma facility with comprehensive support services • 90-day estimated credentialing timeframe • Expedited application process preferred (48-72 hours for RFA, 5 days for application) • Start date will be confirmed after privileging is complete Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
