Our client in southeast Texas is actively seeking a General Surgeon to join their team. This is a hospital employed opportunity with a competitive salary plus RVUs and full benefits package. Located just 90 minutes from downtown Houston in a coastal community that offers a lower cost of living and an abundance of outdoor recreation. Robotics available DaVinci Robot available for use. 2 other independent surgeons serving the hospital. The most influential general surgeon is aging out over the next few years 1:4 call. Looking for a surgeon with a focus on colorectal would be ideal, but not so focused that is all they want to do. Would accept the right surgeon with a broad scope of abilities The community has a small town feel but not too small. Is the anchor of the "The Golden Triangle" which is the collective name for the bigger nearby cities of Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange. The primary service area (PSA) for this hospital has an approximate population of 125,000 although there are 350,000 in the area overall Joining a single W2 employed General Surgeon
