Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Leonardtown, MD 20650 (Southern Maryland healthcare jobs) Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: November 3, 2025 End Date: February 2, 2026 Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (07:00 - 19:30) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990-$2130 Call Requirement: Rotational weekends, 1-2 weekend shifts per contract Scrubs Provided Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing experience preferred) Active Maryland or Compact RN license (required at time of submission) Certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association required) Proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures: General OR, laparoscopic, robotic, vascular, orthopedic, gynecologic, and gastrointestinal surgeries Experience with electronic medical record/charting systems Two (2) supervisor references required Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) OR RN Responsibilities Circulate and/or scrub for diverse surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, gynecologic, vascular, and robotic-assisted surgeries Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and more) Maintain a safe, sterile environment and ensure compliance with all hospital safety protocols Deliver compassionate patient care to all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Participate in rotational weekend call as required Complete all required orientation and training modules prior to and during the assignment Discover the unique benefits of working as a travel nurse in Leonardtown, MD—a vibrant community with small-town charm, waterfront recreation, and easy access to the Chesapeake Bay.
